Changes to Interest Rate for Mortgage Style Loans

As from 1st September 2011 until 31st August 2012 the new interest rate to be applied to all loans currently being serviced by Thesis Servicing will be 5.3%, as interest is linked solely to the RPI. As RPI in March 2011 was 5.3%, the maximum rate of interest you may be charged between 1 September 2011 and 31 August 2012 is 5.3%.

Interest will continue to be applied to accounts during any period of deferment.

If you are currently making repayments but are earning below the eligible deferment threshold (see below ”Changes to the Deferment Threshold”) and would like to find out more information about deferring your repayments for 12 months, please call our Customer Service Officers on 0844 736 8426 quoting your loan reference number and someone will be happy to assist you.

Changes to Deferment Threshold

As from 1st September 2011 until 31st August 2012 the deferment earning threshold will increase from £26,449 to £27,734
